According to the sources, DTCP (The Department of Town and Country Planning) thinking of starting the inspections of residential properties, which are located in the licensed colonies. They are going to check if any residential property has any kind of illegal construction and if the officials find out then they will take strict action against them.
This inspection process probably starts next week since all the teams have been formed. Gurugram officials took this decision of the inspection because they received multiple complaints about illegal constructions from few local property owners.
A DTCP official has confirmed that they already have a list in hand of all the properties and colonies where they began their inspection. In the first stage of the inspection, they search around 30 reported properties for illegal construction.
One specific team is going to inspect some areas that have reports of building norm violations. And if the team found any kind of illegal constructions on those properties then the architects of that project will be blacklisted and the government can even withdraw that property.
